Getting started is two steps
Welcome is now one screen: connect a brokerage, and tick a box if you want the morning letter. Then pick a strategy from Find. Your first start tells you plainly that you're live (or set, if it is scheduled).
-
Top 10 by score on the Lab
The Lab shows a new group of research books that hold the ten names an analyst, or a pair of analysts, scores highest, each beside its opposite-side twin.
-
The Lab's index shows raw accuracy
The Lab's index now shows how often each analyst's calls were right, rather than a simulated return.
-
One brokerage account, one member
A brokerage account that another member has already connected can no longer be connected to a second StreetAI account, so two members' strategies can never trade the same account.
-
A 3× leverage limit on Alpaca accounts
Strategies won't add positions that would take an Alpaca account past 3× effective exposure, counting everything in the account. The start dialog says so. The limit never sells anything: an account over it simply takes no new positions until it is back under.
-
Reminder emails, and a Notifications tab
On weekday evenings we may email you if your connected account has nothing running, or if you have not connected a brokerage yet. Turn either off in Settings → Notifications, or with the one-click link in the email.
-
Price-rule strategies
Strategies that follow simple price rules joined the catalog. They decide once a day near the close and can hold positions overnight.
-
Clearer loading
Pages show placeholders while their data loads, and buttons show when an action is in progress, instead of sitting blank.
-
Balanced AI portfolios
Each AI analyst now publishes a balanced daily portfolio beside its growth one. Switch between Growth and Balanced on Daily.
-
Broker costs in the FAQ
The FAQ now explains the costs your broker may charge (margin interest, fees to borrow shares, options fees) and that they are separate from StreetAI.
-
A deposit is not a gain
Portfolio's day and since-start figures leave out deposits and withdrawals where we can see them, so moving money in or out no longer reads as a gain or a loss.
-
Follow portfolios are public
Anyone can browse the Follow portfolios from the homepage and Portfolio, and members can run one on their own account.
-
Robinhood support
You can connect a Robinhood account from Settings and run long-only stock strategies on it (margin accounts).
